ACE's 2013 Concert Season Begins July 24

Another Fairhaven Cultural Council-sponsored summer event:
The Acushnet Classic Ensemble (ACE) brings classical music to the Southcoast performed by the area's most talented and motivated young musicians. 
Admission is free, but donations are appreciated and accepted. All concerts are held in the air-conditioned, handicap-accessible F.H.S. Performing Arts Center and parking is free. There are 3 performances open to the public:
Acushnet Classic Ensemble Dress Rehearsal
Wednesday, July 24, 2013, 1:00 p.m.

Fairhaven High School Performing Arts Center
12 Huttleston Ave. (Larch Ave. entrance), Fairhaven
A one-hour afternoon rehearsal/performance by the Acushnet Classic Ensemble. Music Director Douglas Anderson will conduct the Symphony and the Advanced String Ensemble; Daniela Chirgotis, the Intermediate Ensemble, and Thomas Short, the Wind Ensemble. 
 
Acushnet Classic Ensemble “Pops” Concert
Thursday, July 25, and Friday, July 26, 2013, 7:00 p.m.

Fairhaven High School Performing Arts Center
12 Huttleston Ave. (Larch Ave. entrance), Fairhaven
A performance by the Acushnet Classic Ensemble. Music Director Douglas Anderson will conduct the Symphony and the Advanced String Ensemble; Daniela Chirgotis, the Intermediate Ensemble, and Thomas Short, the Wind Ensemble. Following the concert there will be a reception in the FHS cafeteria.
