There were many worthwhile projects to choose from this year. Winning projects demonstrated the most benefits to our community and specifically for residents of Fairhaven. Funding for these grants is provided by the Massachusetts Cultural Council as well as from the town of Fairhaven. Funds from the town of Fairhaven are earmarked to support events that promote tourism or attract visitors to our local businesses and were awarded accordingly.
Many of these LCC grant-supported events will be offered for free admission or for affordable ticket prices; many offer senior discounts as well. Stay posted to our blog throughout the year for updates on when these programs will be taking place.
